Jurgen Klopp: Have to be patient with Daniel Sturridge’s return
The 26-year-old had trained normally with the rest of Juergen Klopp’s squad on Wednesday before the problem flared up.

“It’s not that serious”.
According to Carragher, Sturridge is unrivalled among Premier League strikers, Sergio Aguero apart, when he’s fit and firing.
In nearly three years at the club Sturridge has missed nearly as many matches (68) as he has made appearances (70), with last season decimated by calf, thigh and hip problems which resulted in him having an operation in May. Klopp has yet to play him since taking over as manager in mid-October.
Klopp dismissed the idea that he has concerns over Sturridge’s long-term fitness due to his injury record in the last 12 months.
But Monk, who leads his team to Anfield on Sunday, thinks expectations at Liverpool should remain realistic.
Klopp added: “Everybody wants him back but we have to learn that was the situation yesterday (Thursday)”. The training was intensive, as it should have been. But we have to stay patient.
“He trusts how I work, he’s seen the success, what I bring to the club has worked in the past and he knows we can get through this period if we are all united, which we are”.
Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson believes that Swansea City could be “ripped to shreds” by Liverpool on Sunday if they start the game in the same manner as they did when beat Manchester City 4-1 at the Etihad Stadium. For a player like him he is always (knocking) on the door saying ‘Give me five minutes, 10 minutes’. The charismatic German was talking to the media after Liverpool’s 2-1 Europa League win over Bordeaux when he expressed his views on Benteke.
“He wants to play but we have to wait”, he said.
Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva’s performances under new manager Jurgen Klopp have largely gone under the radar amid the hype which greeted the new manager’s arrival but that may be about to change.
“I didn’t understand it because we were the active team in this game”, he told BT Sport.
Henderson has now been speaking to the club’s official website and revealed that after a tough time on the sidelines, he’s now set to make his comeback from injury.

“If I would ask something about Liverpool, I would have met him earlier, not after six weeks”.
