Jurgen Klopp up in arms as Liverpool undone by Burnley
Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has revealed that Jurgen Klopp’s charges must dissect their Premier League loss against Burnley and move on.

After losing 2-0 at Burnley on Saturday, Klopp is delighted to have an opportunity so quickly to put right that dismal performance at Turf Moor but is not taking anything for granted given the potentially troublesome nature of the draw Liverpool have been handed.
Saturday’s defeat led to instant demands from supporters for Klopp to strengthen his squad ahead of the August 31 transfer deadline but Liverpool’s manager, who has been seeking a new left back this summer, refused to reveal his hand.
Liverpool, who rubber-stamped Christian Benteke’s departure to Crystal Palace earlier on Saturday, lacked similar cutting edge, leaving Klopp with plenty to ponder.
Klopp says he won’t be “resting” players, but he probably should be dropping some.
“I understand after Arsenal, it was far away from being a ideal game and everybody said we scored four, so obviously we can score goals, but we conceded three, so obviously we have a defensive problem”.
‘It’s not an off day, just an experience that we didn’t want.
Jurgen says the reds are taking Burton very seriously, as they should with Burton only one division below.
Whoever Liverpool do bring in to lead the line, Burton Albion will have their work cut out to contain what will be a very slick Liverpool outfit. I respect this but usually in a game like this, we win, if we don’t make mistakes in the wrong moment. But we do not feel we can not work with the players.
“We expected to create better chances than we did”.
It’s only one game, so it’s not the end of the world, but what’s even more alarming is the manner in which they lose to the newly promoted club. And we lost concentration, and didn’t force them to make these defensive movements again. It’s not the highest intensity of training today.
“The answer is I don’t know we will see”. “Okay, I could now name a few names but they can still play, it’s possible, and I have not made a final decision”, the manager continued. “Good link-up play between the two strikers, everyone knows I prefer, when I can, to play with two strikers – and it was a good press”.

That Dyche’s side had only one other shot throughout the 90-minutes is telling, but the expectation was always that they’d try to contain while the Reds attacked – which is exactly what happened, but it turned out a result that few would have predicted.
