Jurgen Klopp urges Liverpool to reproduce Etihad Stadium heroics at Anfield
Jurgen Klopp has urged Liverpool to reproduce their Etihad Stadium heroics at Anfield after his side secured an emphatic 4-1 victory over Manchester City on Saturday.

“We could beat Chelsea and we could beat City, but we lost to Palace so we have to do better at home and keep improving”.
“It was the flawless tactical plan from the gaffer”, the Croatian told The Liverpool Echo.
The 21-year-old played in his favoured midfield position once again against City and received a rating of 7.39 from Whoscored.
“We scored four goals and we must have had three or four other one-on-ones with their keeper”.
Since their impressive 3-1 victory at Sevilla in the Champions League, City have had a goalless draw at Aston Villa and now this humiliation.
Former Liverpool defender Mark Lawrenson is in awe of the influence Jurgen Klopp has had on the Liverpool team, as evidenced by their 4-1 win over Manchester City. If somebody thinks after a game like this we can go to the top of the table, it’s really not my problem. It is unbelievable the performance we had. It wasn’t because of the weather and it wasn’t a problem with Brendan Rodgers because he is a brilliant manager.
His team can still do better in many parts of their game than they did at City, he added. We didn’t let them breathe and on the counter-attack we had a chance with the three players up top – Adam [Lallana], Phil and Roberto.
He said: “I was very fortunate to be in a position where if had stayed at Manchester City, or if I had moved to Liverpool I was going to be happy and in a good place”.
“He wants a reaction when we lose that ball and to get after it quickly”, said Milner of Klopp’s expectations from his players.
With just one defeat in their past eight games since Klopp took charge, the players recognise that belief is growing with every positive result. But I think we showed on the pitch what we are able to do and how good we can be.
Fellow French worldwide and centre-back Eliaquim Mangala also started against Liverpool and his own goal sealed a disappointing defensive display, and a team showing that boss Manuel Pellegrini described as a “complete disaster”.

When Klopp was revealed as a Liverpool manager, he had straight away said that it won’t be an overnight process and will take time to change.
