Jurgen Klopp: What I think of Chelsea’s start to the season
I know about our respect for Chelsea and I’m pretty sure it is the same for them.

Stamford Bridge was the scene of Klopp’s first Premier League victory on October 31 past year when Liverpool came from a goal down to win 3-1.
The win, though, papered over some nervy moments for both the backline – which featured midfielders James Milner and Lucas Leiva out of position – and goalkeeper Simon Mignolet when the Reds held a 2-1 lead and the outcome was still in doubt. “It is like it is”, said Klopp. Obviously he is involved in the game, but that’s not the most important thing. “They are more experienced”.
Costa has already scored four goals so far this season, with a brace coming at the Liberty Stadium last weekend which helped Chelsea to a 2-2 draw with the Welsh side. “That’s how it is”.
Firmino, Adam Lallana, Philippe Coutinho and newcomer Mane each have two goals. He is world class.
“We had other goals when we had six, seven or eight players around the box and still found the solution, five players in the box and still found a solution”.
“I don’t know why Antonio does it”.
“He is good, he can play different positions and he is mentally strong”.
That man is, of course, Diego Costa.
Spain global Costa has made a blistering start to the season, with four goals in four Premier League games, and he has history against Liverpool. However, the first-year manager was more pleased Costa didn’t lash out after taking a beating for much of the match from Swansea’s defenders. He was a great player. They are a physically strong side’.
“We have a challenge and we want to go there and create real problems for them”, he told a news conference. “I’m pleased with this. That doesn’t mean anything, unfortunately, but I’m looking forward to it”. “We must learn this”.
Luiz, previously a Chelsea player between 2011 and 2014, is likely to replace captain John Terry, who has been ruled out for 10 days with ankle ligament damage sustained at Swansea.

While Dejan Lovren is expected to return to partner Joel Matip after a head injury kept him out of Saturday’s match, there’s also questions to be asked at the back with Loris Karius – long tipped to take over first team duties for incumbent ‘keeper Simon Mignolet – fit again after breaking his hand in the loss to Chelsea in the United States.
