Justice Dept. affirms Clinton could delete personal emails
That’s her story and she’s bitterly clinging to it. But the legal group Judicial Watch announced Monday that there are “newly obtained Department of State documents showing a almost five-month total gap in the emails former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton decided to return to the State Department late previous year“. The brief was in response to the continued lawsuit brought on by the conservative group Judicial Watch and they request that the judge issue a court order to preserve Clinton’s emails.

The Washington Times reported that, while Clinton has said she used an old account from her time as USA senator from New York during the beginning of her term in the State Department, the gaps between emails raise questions.
Nothing she sent or received in those “gap” periods is part of the cache that the agency is scouring for telltale signs of classified or other sensitive information, Fitton said.
The ad continues with Clinton stating that her “mission as president” will be “to make sure I do everything I can, every single day, to knock down the barriers, to open up the doors, so that every child has a chance to live up to his or her God-given potential“. He endorsed her as a candidate and a women’s rights activist, mentioning his wife and three daughters.
That claim was debunked when the House committee investigating Benghazi discovered communications that had been sent to Mrs. Clinton by long-time aide Sydney Blumenthal, which touched on events in Libya.
“There is no question that former Secretary Clinton had authority to delete personal emails without agency supervision – she appropriately could have done so even if she were working on a government server“, the Justice Department wrote in a document filed this week in US District Court in Washington, the Economic Times reports.
“It’s malarky that the emails Clinton withheld were of a personal nature, ‘ he said, calling the digital trail she set up on her home-brew server ‘intertwined and indistinguishable” from official records that federal law requires the government to archive. Deleted emails often can be recovered from a device that has not been “wiped” – that is, completely erasing the data from the hard disk. Justice also said Judicial Watch didn’t present any evidence Clinton had mistakenly or intentionally deleted government records instead of personal emails. Since the scandal broke, Hillary’s handed over 55,000 pages of e-mails, but only after deleting over 30,000 that she and her staff deemed “private“.
Her lowest standing. So far this election cycle but it’s not just that with her Numbers slipping, Joe Biden and Bernie sanders now rising and this more than half of all Clinton supporters say they would consider switching their support to Biden if he does jump in the race. I did not send or receive any information marked classified.
Several rounds of email releases have already been performed, revealing Clinton’s thoughts on wide-ranging topics such as WikiLeaks and Parks & Rec. The State Department has confirmed that. Earlier this week, Clinton apologized during an interview with ABC News, calling her use of the server a “mistake”.

The State Department quickly pushed back on the newly unveiled timeline, which it said was based off an initial oversight.
