LOS ANGELES-The Justice League may be saving the Earth on the big screen, but they’re championing another cause in real life.

Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher, Jason Momoa and Ezra Miller appear in a video from the London set of Justice League to promote Rezpect Our Water, an organization that opposes the Dakota Access Pipeline, which the group says could potentially harm the Missouri River. “To get involved in this movement, go to sacredstonecamp.org”, Mr. Miller said in a Change.org video uploaded to YouTube on Tuesday. They also ask that you sign the Change.org petition against the pipeline, which reads, “Native American people know that water is the first medicine not just for us, but for all human beings living on this earth”.

Though brief, the video is already doing a lot to bring awareness to the problems local communities are having with the proposed Dakota Access Pipeline.

The superhero squad, which is now filming the upcoming DC Comics team up flick in London, joined together to show their support for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and others who are demonstrating against the $3.8 billion oil pipeline. The project aims to transport crude oil from the North Dakota Bakken region through South Dakota and Iowa into IL, crossing the Missouri River. Batman and Wonder Woman have to join forces again to rally the superhuman troops to face the Apokolips villain Steppenwolf, though Affleck recently teased the presence of Deathstroke as well.
