Justin Bieber won’t be following in Kylie Jenner’s footsteps this weekend after all.
The website claims the contract was worth “a couple of hundred thousand dollars”, adding that Bieber received the first half of the fee, but on the second pre-agreed payment day – Thursday – Team Productions failed to pay Bieber’s camp. He was slated to sing one to two songs and hang out at the venue.
If you’re wondering why a wooden skate ramp costs $20k…it’s because it freakin’ floats!
Some fans attending the event in Montreal also appeared to understand Team Bieber’s decision to cancel.
Beachclub said in a statement that the cancellation was due to an unspecified breach of contract by event promoter Team Productions.
The Beachclub for its part issued a statement on its Facebook page stressing that Justin Bieber and the club were in no way responsible for the cancellation of Saturday’s event. Our management team truly believes this is a troubling situation, especially since it was completely out of our control.
