Britney Spears recently said that she would like to collaborate with Justin Timberlake, and sent the internet into a frenzy. He [Steven Tyler] is a genius, I think. He’s very rock n’ roll. “He sings from his soul”, she began.

Timberlake welcomed the idea of musically collaborating with the “Make Me” singer, two weeks after Spears listed the former *NSYNC standout as one of the artists she’d one day like to team up with.

Now in Toronto to promote his Netflix concert film, Justin Timberlake and the Tennessee Kids, he was asked on the red carpet about a recent interview Brit did with E!

When informed of Spears’ comments, Timberlake told E!

The Can’t Stop the Feeling singer added: “I’m accessible, give us a call!”

“She did? Sure”, Timberlake said, before explaining his son Silas gets more of his attention than some of the news. If I’ve seen it once, I’ve seen it a thousand times. Apologizing for being wrapped up in parenthood, he’s left the ball in Britney’s court to pick up the phone and give him a call! “It’s like everyone’s childhood dream”.

Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were pop music’s power couple in the early 2000s. Timberlake, 35, said in an interview with The Associated Press on Wednesday that he would “be open to talking about” working on a song with Spears.
