“Britney Spears will not be contributing in any way, shape or form to the Lifetime biopic”, a statement reads, “nor does it have her blessing”. News, the singer seemed excited at the prospect of working with his childhood sweetheart once again. “I would love to see that happen and have a feeling it will happen”.
Meanwhile, Timberlake said he was excited and gushed over Demme, jesting: “I’m in love with you”. Justin’s old nickname for Britney – and suddenly, his face fell. “It’s been a really long time since I’ve done a new project, it’s been like a few years, it feels like a new era for me”, she told Radio.com.
News that he would “absolutely” collaborate with the star, before admitting that he hadn’t heard Spears’ interview.
“She did? Sure! Absolutely, absolutely”, he told EOnline.com at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of his concert-documentary film Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids. He’s a genius, I think, and he’s very rock “n” roll and he sings from his soul.
After Spears recently listed her ex-boyfriend as someone with whom she’d like to duet, Timberlake didn’t get the message … at least until Marc Malkin from E! “I’ve been in and out of the studio, obviously, with some of my more frequent – and less frequent – collaborators”.
