Justin Timberlake Just Dropped His First New Solo Track in Three Years

“It’s amusing that you say that because you might be in my brain about certain types of collaborations coming up on my next album”, Timberlake said.

Can’t Stop This Feeling! is now available for digital purchase and streaming. It’s worth mentioning that Timberlake is no stranger to movies ever since he jumped from musician to actor.

All together now: “Nothing I can see but you when you dance, dance, dance, dance…”

In fact, this is the kind of song that will have people making videos to post online and even inspire a few dance parties. Hours before the track’s release, Timberlake offered a “first listen” snippet video with appearances from Timberlake’s Trolls co-stars, including Anna Kendrick, Gwen Stefani and James Corden.

It’s notable that Timberlake doesn’t only offer this peppy tune and a lead voice performance on Trolls.

Covers of songs such as Simon & Garfunkel’s The Sound Of Silence and Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors are also featured, with the latter a duet between Timberlake and co-star Anna Kendrick. He had earlier teased the release on social media with #CantStopTheFeeling.

The pop superstar hasn’t released any music since his 2013 album The 20/20 Experience, choosing to take some time off to enjoy life with his wife Jessica Biel their 12-month-old son Silas.

Additionally, Timberlake will serve as executive music producer of the soundtrack. But when he deigns to release a new song, you can count on it being polished, smooth, and worthy of bopping along with. In this role, Timberlake will oversee all creative direction for the film’s music as well as perform multiple songs on the soundtrack.
