He’s well-known for stopping by The Tonight Show and palling around with Jimmy Fallon, often in a musical fashion, and he recently did a bit for Seth Meyers in which he went behind Fallon’s back to write a theme song for Late Night.

“When you’re looking for fun on your TV, just switch it on over to NBC”.

Pressed on his low poll numbers, and if his calmer demeanor is hurting his chances, Kasich demurred.

“National polls don’t matter right now. If you can’t bring people together, I don’t know who can”. Kasich asked. “I mean this is just politics“.

Meyers, seemingly impressed by Kasich’s “reasonable” candidacy, said he’d chip in “a couple of bucks” for the Ohio governor to stay in the running. Sadly, he just doesn’t treasure Meyers enough to give him an original. The Kasich campaign quickly tweeted a donation link for Meyers.
