Juve confirm winger deal

For weeks now, the Italian media has been covering stories about the interest of Serie A champions Juventus in Juan Cuadrado’s services, though nothing has materialized yet.

Morotta revealed that the Colombia worldwide will arrive in Italy soon with confirmation on his loan likely to be made in the coming days.

“It is true, Cuadrado will arrive on loan and we want to give [Juventus manager] Max Allegri the best possile players to work with”, Juventus director Marotta was quoted as saying by Sport Mediaset.

“We hope to officially announce it on Monday morning”.

“He will come on a loan deal”. The opportunity to get Cuadrado presented itself and we took it.

The story developed quickly once Jose Mourinho was happy to sanction a loan move for the Colombian winger as opposed to a permanent deal.

After just six months at Stamford Bridge, it looks as though Juan Cuadrado’s time with Premier League side Chelsea is coming to an end.

The midfielder only signed for the west Londoners earlier this year but, with an opportunity to play regularly beyond him, the 27-year-old could be off to Turin.

Pedro, meanwhile, recorded a goal and an assist in the first 30 minutes of his debut with Chelsea as the Blues picked up their first win of the season.
