Buffon is one of the world’s best and still holds the record of being the most expensive goalkeeper of all time having moved from Parma to Juventus for £37million. We had a very young attack with little global experience.

The club are yet to issue an update on Iniesta, but with an apparent hamstring problem forcing him off on Tuesday, it seems unlikely that he will be ready to play on Saturday.

Juventus should have taken the lead in the 35th following a great cut-back from the byline by Sami Khedira to Dybala but the Argentinian slipped.

Sevilla were awarded three penalties on the opening matchday of this season’s Champions League (they converted two of them).

“Yesterday morning I had predicted that the Old Lady would win“, said Orsi to Radio Radio. Which isn’t exactly the look of a Mourinho team.

If fans thought it was a flash in the pan, they would be soon mistaken. Until then, it’s all doom and gloom, and lots of stuff for newspapers to fill pages.

Manchester City already have their backs to the wall when they travel to Borussia Mönchengladbach on Wednesday.
