Arsenal and Liverpool target Alvaro Morata has sparked further uncertainty over his future by admitting he is unsure about which club he wants to play for.

Juve signed Morata from Madrid in 2014 and the Spain global extended his contract until 2020 in December, but Los Blancos retain a buy-back clause.

“Back to Madrid? It’s something that exists and it’s a real possibility because it’s a contract, there are documents”. But it’s a game of passing the book for Madrid who hope to sell the attacker on to the Premier League with Chelsea and Manchester City among suitors there.

He led Juventus to the Champions League final last season and scored a sensational goal against Bayern Munich a week ago, despite being on the losing side to Pep Guardiola’s team.

Juventus would prefer to keep the talented forward but they’re making preparations for a possible departure, so by the summer things could start to take shape for Arsenal to complete a quality deal.

In the meantime, Morata wants to continue to grow in Italy, helping Juve clinch another title, saying: “Since I arrived at Juve, my body has changed a lot”. Butragueno’s words? I talk frequently with him.

“He has worn the Real Madrid shirt, he came through the youth system and he was an worldwide”.

“For example: I also speak with [Fernando] Morientes from time to time and it makes me proud because when I was little I would wait for him to sign my shirts”.

Arsenal and Liverpool are on alert as Real Madrid prepared to exercise their right to re-sign Alvaro Morata
