French reports suggest Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba will meet with his agent in Miami today to discuss a move to Manchester United.

Mourinho earlier warned Juventus over stalling negotiations, and stated that United has 2 alternatives- which is likely to be Nemanja Matic of Chelsea, and Blaise Matuidi of PSG.
Scholes was Pogba’s teammate when the latter was a teenager at United and feels despite his obvious talent, the France worldwide has a long way to go before he can stake his claim as one of the world’s top players and command a record fee.

After the recent snub from Juventus, United may want to switch their targets and look to match value with money, by going for a player who is more in the region of €25-35m and not someone who attracts a €120m worth of attention like Pogba has brought to the club in recent weeks. For that sort of money, you want someone who is going to score 50 goals a season like Ronaldo or Messi. “I just don’t think he is a player worth £100m right now”.
“Pogba is nowhere there yet”.
On the other hand, he praised bitter rivals Manchester City for acquiring German midfield enforcer Ilkay Gundogan, “I think Gundogan is a really impressive player”.
The deal would see Pogba become manager Mourinho’s fourth major signing of the summer following the acquisitions of Eric Bailly from Villarreal, Borussia Dortmund’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan and ex-Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, for a combined fee thought to be in the region of £68 million, per Transfermarkt.com. As the two teams continue their merry dance, the assumption by everyone is that Pogba will return to Old Trafford for the start of the new Premier League season.
