Juventus star Alvaro Morata: There has been no contact with Real Madrid
Juventus have struggled this season, sitting seventh and two points behind the Rossoneri in Serie A, but Morata stated a result against their rivals could be key to getting his side’s fortunes this season back on track.

And Morata has likened the contest to a “Clasico“. The goal is to get maximum points before Christmas and to qualify in the Champions League.
“It’s a final, considering the moment we are passing through and our ranking in the table”.
Having endured a hard personal start, speculation is rife that Morata is set to return to boyhood club Madrid at the end of the campaign, given the capital club retain an option to buy back the 23-year-old for €30 million.
“In all honesty, I haven’t been fully fit physically”. I played on through various aches and pains, which is why I wasn’t consistent.
Alvaro Morata says he wants to stay at Juventus, and that he hasn’t been in contact with Real Madrid.
“I’m pleased to clarify because when words rebound between Italy and Spain, in different languages, they become inaccurate”.
“I never said that I don’t like playing on the left, just that it’s hard to score from there”.
“But my objective is to win, and not to become top-scorer”.
“Then it is normal that when a striker doesn’t score he’s criticized, but I am very calm & serene”.
However, Morata insisted he had no desire to leave Turin, telling Gazzetta dello Sport: “The only thing that interests me is to play as much as possible with Juve and winning titles”.
“If somebody were to offer me the chance to go goal-less but win Serie A, I’d sign on the dotted line”.
“What is said or what is not said is not my problem. I’m 23, I can keep improving”.

“I know I need to improve, I have not had my usual performances and so far have not been at my best level”. I am fine where I am and do not think about [joining] another club.
