Juventus title defence on the line in trip to San Siro
Inter hasn’t beaten Juventus at San Siro since Jose Mourinho was in charge.

Meanwhile, Juventus have endured a disappointing opening to their title defence and have already lost three games this term, equalling their defeats tally from last season. Inter are now second in the table, while Jovetic has scored three goals in just five league appearances.
Triumphs over Manchester City and Sevilla remain the highlights of Juventus’ season, but their 3-1 comeback win against Bologna before the global break enabled the club to turn their focus to the teams above them rather than being concerned about an extended stay towards the bottom of the standings.
A win for Inter at the San Siro on Sunday would mean the Nerazzurri would go 11 points clear of the reigning champions but Perisic does not think that will end Juve’s title hopes. But a number of their injured players have begun to return, and securing two wins in a row in all competitions before the global break are helping fuel whispers that the old lady might be waking from her sleep. “We have to be well prepared, because it brings particular pressures with it”. I even scored against Juventus with my chest a year ago.
The title credentials of champions Juventus come under fresh scrutiny in the “Derby d’Italia” when a win for Inter Milan could see Roberto Mancini’s men underline their scudetto hopes by seizing the Serie A lead.
“I started as a kid and I never stopped”.
It is not the first time the fans have protested against the measures.
“Going to Juventus was a mistake, I would have done better going to Inter, I would have won the Treble there”.
“To score when you play against Juventus is an incredible feeling”.
“We’re at the beginning of the season but to be eight points behind Inter is too much”.
The defending champions have been below par on the domestic scene but their performances in the Champions League have proven that they still possess plenty of quality, and if Inter can claim maximum points on Sunday, they will be making a huge statement to their closest rivals.
