Kabali 2nd Day, Day 2 Box Office Collections: Rajinikanth
Rajinikanth’s Kabali movie is finally released, and it could not have secured a better release than this. While critics rated the film anywhere between 2 to 4 stars, fans were largely impervious to the ratings.

We hear that the superstar called up Thanu and congratulated him on Kabali’s success. The film has earned Rs 78.95 crore in its two days of release.
There’s more to Kabali storm across India, as the film has beaten Baahubali’s day one Indian record of 42 crs nett by collecting 44.5 crs, becoming the country’s highest opening day grosser in the history of Indian cinema. The SRK starrer had collected Rs 44.97 crores on opening day. The movie had got mixed review and the audience were completely impressed with the acting of Rajinikanth but the story was not good and was dragged as per the first-day talk. In fact, many Hindi films starring Big B were remade in Tamil with Rajinikanth. “While Kabali did release in 2000 more screens that “Sultan”, the ticket prices in South India are half than that of North India. “Kabali” opened up today on around 12,000 screens across India, as well in some region of United Kingdom and Malaysia which have tints of the Tamil-speaking population.
Shah Rukh Khan-starrer “Happy New Year” (2014) lags behind by a huge margin with Rs 44.97 crore as its opening collection. People jam-packed the theatres, and all the tickets were pre-booked instantly.
