Kabali First 1st Day Overall Collection In Tamil, Telugu & Bollywood

Hundreds of thousands of fans of Indian superstar Rajinikanth are thronging cinemas across the country to catch the premiere of his latest film, “Kabali”.

Apart from the USA and Canada, the film has also did well in Malaysia and United Kingdom. With the huge number of foots rolling into the screens, “Kabali” will fill in more than Rs 40 crore* on its opening day. The next few days will be crucial for the film ” s success at the box office.

Fans clung to theatre gates all night as the first show was screened at 4am.

To put it into perspective, a multiplex ticket in north India is priced anywhere between Rs 350-450 on a Friday and Salman Khan’s “Sultan” – which was released in 4500 screens – earned Rs 36.54 crore. But what remains a fact is that Rajinikanth’s “Kabali” will not be a “Lingaa 2″. The film has also been released in Telugu, apart from its Tamil version. Rajinikanth is having a large fan following worldwide and he is so popular for his wonderful style and acting. Over the weekend, the film is expected to surpass the total collections of some of the big films.

Here Rajini comes with a new and unique avatar and which is really loved by the audience. Fans are insane about Superstar and finally the movie got mixed response on day 1.

“Kabali” was released in approximately 8000-10000 screens all over the world, which includes 480 screens in the U.S., 490 in Malaysia and above 500 in Gulf countries.

In a special feature in FirstPost, he also wrote that the film also grossed around Rs 9.5 crores in Andhra and Telangana, Rs. 5.10 crores in Karnataka and Rs 3 crores in Kerala.

Rickshaws, buses and cars painted with Kabali imagery have become a common sight on the roads and one auto salesman in Tamil Nadu has been offering cars emblazoned with graphics from the film, which are reportedly selling out at speed.
