Kabali’s 250 Crs On Day 1? Come On!!
In his 159th film, the 65-year-old actor plays an ageing don living in Malaysia. Finally, the most awaited movie of the year Kabali is released which was directed by Pa Ranjith and Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, This is the first movie to release over 60 countries across the globe.

Huge cutouts of the star and enormous posters loomed large in the street outside the theater. Kabali (2016) second day worldwide box office collection has generated revenue of Rs. 85 to 90 crores.
The film’s distributor, Fox Star India, believes that the Rajinikanth phenomenon managed to live up to the hype.
Fans of the “Thalaivar” celebrated the release of “Kabali” in different ways including in social media.
As the “Kabali” fever grips India, many companies in Chennai and Bangalore have officially announced July 22 as holiday to let their employees catch the first show of the movie.
Kabali released in over 400 screens in the USA and Canada.
Rajinikanth’s “Kabali” may have opened to mix reviews, but as often is the case with the superstar’s films, reviews have little impact on box-office collections.
As expected, Rajinikanth and Radhika Apte starrer Kabali sets the Box Office on fire on its opening day. Kabali has apparently collected Rs 250 crore on its first day in India, shattering all records for any movie in India!

The Telugu film starring Prabhas and Rana Dagubatti released worldwide on July 10, 2015, collecting close to Rs 5 crore for the Hindi dub that day.
Coming to Kabali 1 day collections, reports said that it has minted approximately 12 crores from Tamil version itself.
