Kabul French restaurant rocked by ‘car bomb attack’

Another 15 people were injured in the auto bomb attack on the Le Jardin restaurant, Kabul Criminal Investigation Department head Faraidoon Ubaidi told the BBC.

All of the casualties are Afghan civilians and one of the attackers was captured.

As well as the brief capture of the northern city of Kunduz in September, the insurgent movement has also threatened to take the volatile southern province of Helmand after overrunning several district centres.
