Kaepernick throws 4 picks, Cardinals rout 49ers 47-7

The reaction from his teammates said it all, with the high-profile convert mobbed as the tension from a frustrating opening half poured out. One key to the Cardinals dominance was they did not take their foot off the gas.

“I’ve been blown out before, too, now”, he said. “I play with a lot of emotion, man. I felt like a bad call was made”. It was just emotions.

Kaepernick was 4-1 in his previous starts against the Cardinals.

“Today was 100 percent my fault”, he said. “It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish”.

Mathieu told reporters that the 49ers’ overly simplified passing game was predictable.

“He’s different than any other superstar I’ve been around”, Palmer said. “You have to be ready to play”. This game has all the making of one that comes down to the wire. Not a good thing. To be successful against a tough Arizona defense the run game will need to effective. For me, that has been my mentality and that will be my mentality.

“Those kind of tweaks and little aches are going to come”. I don’t think San Francisco has the fire power to keep up with the Cardinals. Davis did, however, walk off the field and his injury didn’t appear to be serious. “Everybody stayed with him and stuck to the plan”.

IT’S becoming abundantly clear in today’s divisional clash between the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals – Jarryd Hayne is playing for a pretty average football team.

Not one to rest on his laurels, the boy from Minto said he isn’t anxious about the 49ers’ second loss on the trot: “It’s just about working hard and everyone sticking solid”, Hayne said. Running back Carlos Hyde had just 51 yards on 15 carries, which forced Kaepernick to make more plays through the air. Hyde said he believed the 49ers could have still achieved some success on the ground. Anyone watching the game knows it was much more than that. “We started up front, forcing Kaepernick to throw some wild balls”. In the second quarter, running back Chris Johnson scored two touchdowns en route to giving Arizona a 31-7 lead at the half.

Tomsula was asked if benching Kaepernick would have had more of a negative effect on him than letting him try to play through it. “I am trying to do what is best for the team. That is my mentality and that will continue to be my mentality – get better every week and help the team anyway I can”.

Hayne did not touch the ball on offense.

Four snaps and2:03 later, Kaepernick again threw to his rightand into the arms of a Cardinals defender, safetyTyrann Mathieu.

Some five minutes before he was officially declared inactive, cornerback Shareece Wright tweeted: “Politics as usual”. He posted on Twitter, “Politics as usual.”He deleted his tweet a short time later”. “I don’t know how he was on the street (as a free agent)”, coach Bruce Arians said. It had nothing to do with anything. So it did seem odd to see Kaepernick remain in the game, especially with injury a possibility.
