In recent weeks, Kaine has attacked Trump for being too “cozy” with Russia’s president, having “choked” on a trip to Mexico and having values similar to those of the Ku Klux Klan.

“He’s really a genuinely nice guy”, she said.
The Virginia senator acknowledged that many of Trump’s supporters are also motivated by “deep economic anxieties”.
The trip will be Kaine’s second to the Los Angeles area since becoming the Democratic vice presidential nominee.

Clinton’s illness was on the minds of some voters as Kaine briefly visited MI, a swing state that he promised was “going to be close” between Clinton and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in November.
Mr. Kaine also said college graduates with high debt need relief. ‘Look, this was an ailment that many people just power through’. And you know what you find is you can’t do it at a hundred percent. That is still a little bit of a challenge, but that is very doable.
“And these are deals that are putting a lot of money into his pocket, helping him out, helping his family out”. “But it also raises very significant questions about his connection to foreign governments and would he really put the USA interest first? Now later he said oh, I was just trying to be amusing, but that’s just not amusing”.
