The former first lady, who has apologized for her email habits but simultaneously has maintained she did nothing wrong, also admitted that she may have “short-circuited” when she claimed last week that Mr. Comey agreed that she’d fully told the truth to the American people.

I did. He made it abundantly clear that Ms. Clinton did send and receive classified emails and that some of those emails were marked classified. Kaine dodged the question directly and instead repeated what Clinton has previously said.

Wallace didn’t hold back as he pressed Becerra, a strong Clinton ally. So, he did come out and said – you don’t show that, but he did come out and say she did not know.

Video: Asked if she wiped her server, Hillary answers, ‘What, like with a cloth?’

Clinton’s campaign claims that she was referring to a statement Comey made where he said that Hillary did not lie to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, but the interviewer asked if Clinton ever lied to the American public.

“He didn’t say that”, Wallace said.

Just about everyone paying attention called her out for the line-so now Clinton is changing her tune.

“She said it was a mistake”.

GOWDY: Secretary Clinton said, “I did not e-mail classified significant to anyone on my e-mail”.

WALLACE: Congressman, Comey directly contradicted what Clinton had been telling the American people for a year.

Becerra accused Wallace of not playing other clips of Comey’s testimony that she had no knowledge of some emails being classified.

No, it doesn’t. Again, he’s said that Clinton claim after Clinton claim is “not true”.

BECERRA: But she did not know it. She received emails from more than 300 experts at the State Department and other agencies who understand the classified system and they disagree. “She’s incompetent, and I don’t think that you can even think of allowing this woman to become president of the United States”.

She made the comments during a question-and-answer session at a joint conference of the National Association of Black Journalists and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.

WALLACE: They were marked and more importantly, he said that there was classified material that she had e-mailed.

BECERRA: Chris, she has made it clear that looking back at this, she would have done it differently, that she did make some mistake, but she never meant to send classified information over e-mails, and the FBI investigation confirms that.
