Kaine splits with Clinton on whether Trump supporters ‘irredeemable’

“Clinton’s campaign relies on the exhausted tactic of smearing opponents who question her policies as racists”, Trump said at an election rally in Miami, Florida. The data over the course of seven days, the poll’s full sample size, shows Clinton gaining almost 1 percentage point, while Trump’s total has dropped six-tenths of a percent.

Obama was referring to Trump’s admission this week that the president was born in the United States.

The comment marks yet another reversal for the GOP candidate, who previously said he supported the idea of normalized relations, but wished the us had negotiated a better deal. “I trust him more (but) he’s a buffoon and a clown”, said John Street, a retiree, of Trump. But Clinton has done unto them what Trump has done unto Hispanics, war heroes, women, blacks, Muslims and every category that would apply to Sen.

“When I hear folks saying they’re not inspired this this election, I disagree”.

Trump’s acknowledgement that the man who has been president of the United States for seven and a half years is a citizen is an attempt by his campaign to try put a lid on the conspiracy Trump has been fanning for years.

The survey, conducted after Clinton appeared to collapse at a September 11 commemorative event last weekend and then her campaign revealed that she was sick with pneumonia, indicated that a “negligible” number of supporters were less inclined to vote for her based on health concerns. He is not proposing a pathway to legal status for people living in the country illegally but has backed away from his call for the mass deportation of millions of people who have not committed crimes beyond their immigration offenses. Coming out of the convention Clinton was looking to be on pretty solid ground – many national polls had her with double-digit leads and she was ahead in key battleground states.

“One of the major objectives of the Democrats over the next several weeks has to be to bring back those Stein voters and any Democrats who are voting Libertarian”, Johnston said.

“So instead of benefiting Clinton, the latest effort to exploit Birtherism is nearly certainly going to boomerang on Clinton and the CBC with independent voters and millennials”.

On Trump’s quest to win over African-American voters, Obama quipped: “Well, we do have challenges, but we’re not stupid”.

Trump Has Promoted Birtherism For Years; What Changed?

“What’s happened as much as anything else is that the election is taking on the contours of the 2012 election to a very large extent”, said Democratic pollster Geoff Garin.

On Saturday, speaking before a sympathetic audience that included people who said their friends or family members had been killed by undocumented immigrants, Trump continued his sharp attacks on Clinton.

That’s more than triple the advertising investment Trump and his allies made in the same time period.

Garin, an adviser to the pro-Clinton super PAC Priorities USA Action, suggested that, in the long run, there could be an advantage to Trump’s calmer demeanor for his Democratic opponent. “It matters. We’ve got to get people to vote”, Obama said.

“We can’t let Barack Obama’s legacy fall into the hands of someone who doesn’t understand that, whose risky divisive vision for our country will drag us backwards”, she said, though she never mentioned Trump’s name.

It probably won’t work because there were some issues with Trump’s statements.

Roosevelt Brown, 56, said he felt black voters, at least, weren’t buying Trump’s about-face. In a nod to her vulnerabilities, she also acknowledged some of the criticisms of her public persona. Assuming they vote, they’ll have to answer who is best suited to lead the world’s strongest military power. “And that is especially true for young people, like all of you”.

Her press secretary Brian Fallon later speculated on social media that either Ms Conway had “suddenly determined jokes about assassination would help boost Trump with independents. or the dog is off his leash”.
