Kaine: Trump Is Inciting Violence Against Clinton
Kaine said he and Clinton supported the Second Amendment and were not “taking people’s guns away”.

RADDATZ: So – so is it appropriate to use the word ‘irredeemable?’
“Donald Trump has demonstrated, by his trashing the military, by his belief that we need more nukes, but especially by his praise of dictators, even encouraging the Russians to commit cyber-espionage against the United States, hes demonstrated that he shouldnt be within 10 time zones of being commander-in-chief”, Kaine said adding he would trust Clinton as commander-in-chief.
Kaine said he believes “that kind of motivation is reducing” and that not all Trump supporters are driven by these “dark emotions”.
“I think we would be unrealistic to think that some people are going to fundamentally change their view”, Kaine went on. Asked directly whether he believes Mr. Trump is inciting violence, Mr. Kaine said, “I do”.
Clinton’s vice presidential pick did, however, echo her use of the word “deplorable”. “There are other Trump voters who are really concerned about economic anxieties, not demographic issues, but economic anxieties”, he said.
“That’s what stronger together means – I’ve seen it work in Virginia and I know that that’s the path we’re on as a nation”, Kaine said.
“A lot of campaigns get very, very engaged and resolved between Labor Day and Election Day, he said”. “If they’ve clung to the view for five years, as Donald Trump has, that President Obama is not a citizen of this country, I don’t think they’re going to change their views”. He said: “We treat everybody exactly the same, so there’s no disincentive to hire women rather than men”.

And last month, Mr. Trump suggested that “Second Amendment people” could stop Mrs. Clinton from becoming president, a comment critics interpreted as a call to violence. “Who were you trying to appease by doing that?’ That question still needs to be answered”.
