“His disregard for the values that make our country great is profoundly risky”, Clinton said.

A day after she launched an attack on the “alt-right” and accused Mr Trump of building his campaign on “prejudice and paranoia”, the Democratic candidate said the NY tycoon was unfit for the White House.

Trump himself accused Clinton of “trying to smear” his supporters.

“People of this country who want their laws enforced and respected by all, and who want their border secured, are not racists”, he said. “Hillary Clinton has demonstrated today that she’s more interested in subterfuge than addressing the issues in front of her”.

The Trump Campaign described the video as disgraceful. Trump’s slide in polls began shortly after the convention, so it is unclear if the Democratic pollster’s findings still apply.

A majority of millennials (64%) said they would vote for Clinton if a hypothetical two-person election were held right now, while just 29% said they would vote for Trump.

The foundation’s work, she continued, has been “in line with American interests and values”.

In her phone interview with MSNBC, Clinton was asked if she was certain there are no emails or Clinton Foundation ties to foreign entities that would affect her presidential prospects.

Trump’s campaign denounced the ad as a “disgusting new low”.

Donald Trump on Saturday pushed back against Hillary Clinton’s efforts to link him to the Ku Klux Klan.

These remarks come after the businessman called Hillary Clinton a “bigot” this Wednesday, claiming that she is trying to take “a hate movement mainstream”, something which is outside the norm of USA politics, also adding that she “paints decent Americans as racists”.

Mr Trump also has been criticised for vowing to deport millions of people living in the United States illegally.

It is not surprising Trump embraces the “alt-right” because the presidential campaign started by calling Mexicans criminals, drug traffickers and rapists, Clinton points out.

As a prelude to her speech, Clinton’s camp dropped a new ad that morning highlighting KKK members and white nationalists who support Trump. But recently he has suggested he could soften those positions.

On Saturday, Trump was expected to speak at the Iowa State Fair, and his campaign said a detailed immigration proposal will be announced within weeks.

“And we have gone above and beyond most of the charities that I understand, beyond the legal requirements, beyond standards, to voluntarily disclose donors, and also to reduce sources of funding that raised any questions”, she said.
