Kane pushes streak to 20 in loss to Wild
“As well as we have in a long time, we stayed with the game, stayed patient, kept defending well”. While the Blackhawks are happy to play in front of the home folks for the time in 16 days, the Wild have been singing a different tune with losses in six of the last seven contests overall (1-4-2) and seven of 10 on the road (3-4-3). Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Kyle Chipchura scored for the Coyotes, who carried a 2-1 lead into the third period.

Chicago Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane extended his scoring streak to 20 games when he scored on the power play during the second period of Tuesday night’s game against the Minnesota Wild at the United Center. Suter then cruised to the net and buried a loose puck that was dangling near the goal line.
Kane broke the record for a USA player when he got to 19 games with a goal in Chicago’s 3-2 overtime loss at Los Angeles on Saturday.
Mike Condon stopped 22 shots for Montreal and Sergei Bobrovsky made 24 saves for the Blue Jackets.
The Blackhawks were coming off a six-game road trip. Granlund jumped into the zone on the breakaway, and although Crawford stopped him initially, Ryan Suter was there to knock in the rebound to put the Wild up by a score of 2-1. Suter said he will do what the coaches think is best, but it probably isn’t the best idea to potentially disturb the roll that Suter has been on this year.
The National Hockey League, Minnesota Wild and Chicago Blackhawks have released current rosters for the 2016 NHL Stadium Series Alumni Game, taking place February 20 and featuring alumni from the Wild, Blackhawks and Minnesota North Stars.
Four minutes into the period, the Blackhawks got a power play opportunity, and they capitalized to tie things up.
As the period wore on, the Blackhawks finally began to generate some chances thanks to Jonathan Toews.
NOTES: Blackhawks F Patrick Kane was named the NHL’s No. 1 star for November. Minnesota D Marco Scandella returned after missing five games with a lower-body injury.

The win allowed the Panthers to snap a six-game losing streak to St. Louis and was their first victory over the Blues since October 31, 2009.
