In much the same way that Microsoft is hoping to turn laptops on their head with the Microsoft Surface Book, Kangaroo is looking to redefine what people imagine when they think “desktop computer”. The battery could come in handy because unlike other stick PCs, the Kangaroo doesn’t plug directly into monitors – the companion dock has a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0 port, and an HDMI port for use in connecting to monitors. You can connect a mouse, keyboard and monitor and get to work. With Windows Hello integration, the embedded fingerprint reader provides login and personal security without passwords. Like the aforementioned PC sticks, the Kangaroo features Intel power – in this case, an Intel Cherry Trail-based Atom Z8500 with 2GB of RAM – 32GB of internal storage, microSDXC slot (which supports up to 128GB), dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and a microUSB port for power. Extending the functionality of existing hardware, screens and devices, Kangaroo has endless uses and applications. InFocus says that with peripherals and a monitor connected the Kangaroo’s battery can offer up to four hours of “casual use”.
However there is one Windows 10 run gadget which can shake up the PC industry like never before. The helps remove the burden of having to connect multiple wires each time you are sitting down at your desk trying to access your portable PC.
“We wanted to create something that is incredibly affordable, portable and allows you to access Windows 10 and all of your files – from work to media – on any device”, continued Yen.

This mini desktop, which comes with a subscription to Windows 10, costs only $99 (about £65, AU$135), which is basically the price you would pay for Windows 10 Home on sites like NewEgg or Amazon, and $20 less than you would pay if you purchased the software directly from Microsoft.
