A man in Kansas was caught on police dash cam swinging a dog at police, reports television station KWCH.

When the unidentified police officer arrived, he said he found 26-year-old Michael Rush walking across private property and kicking fences.

Even after the officer pepper sprayed the man and hit him with a stun gun, Rush continued to swing his dog at the cop. Police say attempts to use a Taser were unsuccessful. Rush, on the other hand, was booked on several charges.

Witnesses were impressed by the officers, “The way they handled it really surprised me”.

As for the dog, he was not seriously hurt by his involuntary assault, and has been taken to the local animal shelter for observation.
