But since the rules of this column – which I make up as I go – state I need to offer my pick for this game, I’m going to say take PSU and give the points. The fact of the matter is that TCU is just a little too good for this particular version of Kansas State.
But what does a tie accomplish there?

What separated Mariota and Winston from the pack in their respective winning years was that they played for national title participants.
