Kanye West announces 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne collaboration
The announcement was also accompanied by a close-up photo of 2 Chainz‘s face transformed with what looks like Wayne’s tattoos and piercings-artwork that looks very much like an album cover. The name draws inspiration from matching up the two artists as well as it’s based on hometowns – Weezy is from Hollygrove in New Orleans, LA and Chainz is from College Park, Georgia.

Though there’s been talk from Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz about their upcoming collaborative effort, Collegrove, no music has officially made its way to fans. The latest surprise collaboration featuring Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz follows recent reports of him working in the studio on the his next LP, now titled “Turbo Grafx 16”, which has been apparently named in homage to the rapper’s favourite video games console.
2 Chainz and Lil Wayne have released new track “Gotta Lotta”, the first track to be released from their forthcoming “ColleGrove” collaboration. “That will be out, probably sooner than people think”. They’ve appeared on the songs “Yuck”, “Duffie Bag Boy” and “Rich as F-” together. Are you excited for the project?
