But what seemed like a lovely sunny day for those who were lucky enough to score tickets to the stars show, was apparently not so great for the leotard clad models – who reportedly struggled to handle the blistering heat.
On Wednesday, Kanye West debuted his Yeezy Season 4 collection at an abandoned smallpox hospital on Roosevelt Island during NYFW!
He appeared to talk about the fashion show too in some Twitter posts sent out on Friday.
Before you can see the new collection of the rapper, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner, ultra sexy, took the pose. The Yeezy team also asked models dressed in tight spandex to stand still in the blazing sun for hours, resulting in audience members giving them water and one model actually fainting.
What’s more likely is that Kanye’s show was just a spectacle to sell more of his incredibly successful line of adidas Yeezy Boost trainers, even though the best sneaker aficionados out there only managed to spot three pairs in the show.
Kanye’s NYFW show was a little controversial… Amina Blue struggled to walk in her high heels and eventually removed them.
West also hit a nerve on social media with his casting call for “multi-racial women only”. Remember, the last fashion show of the star, Taylor Swift had been humiliated.
