Kanye West felt ‘discriminated against’ for being straight in the fashion industry
“When there’s a big truck coming (sic)”, Kanye explained.

“Is there a time when [you] can go on the Internet and find a shoe people want more than my shoes?” “Dark Fantasy is nearly like an apology record”. He even revealed the “Power” was his most unprogressive song and the least challenging.
As it turns out, Kanye was nothing but serious and he has confirmed once again that he will indeed be running for Presidency in 2020, and it’s no laughing matter. When I was five years old, I picked out my outfit for kindergarten. “The people that break the stereotypes make history”.
“I think [Obama] has done a lot of great things and there’s no chance anybody would even be considering the concept of me running [for President] if he hadn’t won”. Because I married the woman of my dreams and I have a lovely daughter and so many attractive people around me…
“I think the way I collaborate with people, the way that I empower the people I collaborate with … is a different way to problem solve than a normal political way”. This is the question that everybody asks.
Kanye’s already been prepping for the presidential debates.
I had one stylist come up to me and Virgil (Abloh, fellow fashion designer) was standing next to me, and the stylist said “you need to watch out for him, he’s taking your place”. And always have been because I believe that we’re meant to.
On having a family in the spotlight… “I’m still getting acquainted to what’s politically correct [to say]”. “I was like, ‘How can I make my son feel that?” There are people who can’t feed their kids, so I’m not going to sit here and complain about so-called issues I have.
On his challenges with fashion…
Seemingly, Kanye seems like a humble, family man and passionate about his work.

West was at times hard to comprehend Tuesday during an in-depth interview with fashion website SHOWstudio, but in regards to breaking into the fashion industry, the “Black Skinhead” rapper was focused on his message that people have not taken him seriously. He mentioned that he felt discriminated against not just for being black, but also for not being gay. “In fashion, if someone’s really popular it’s agreed upon that they’re an incredible artist”.
