Kanye West Insults Kim Kardashian With Amber Rose Loving At MTV VMAs

All of this combined with Kanye’s insane reputation resulted in us all being seriously excited when it was announced that MTV had given Kanye four minutes to do whatever the hell he wants at last night’s VMAs, with producers being nervous when they still didn’t know what his plans were as guests started piling into Madison Square Garden last night.

When he presented the award for video of the year (hey, Beyonce!), “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon took a few shots at Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte.

When Beyoncé premiered “Lemonade” in April on HBO, it was a foregone conclusion she would rampage through the VMAs – which she did, scoring eight wins, including Video of the Year (for “Formation”) and Breakthrough Long-form Video.

Opinions of the performance were mixed. Fortunately for G-Eazy, this interaction was overlooked to a degree thanks to Drake, who was also friend zoned by fellow hip-hop star Rihanna after delivering her the Vanguard Award. Britney emerged looking, dancing and lip-syncing as good as the days she donned bikini tops and Burmese pythons.

“She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old”, Drake, 29, told the crowd.

Even more unexpected? Her cardio-jam performance looked like it could have taken place at the 1984 MTV Video Music Awards. She’s already solidified her status as a living legend and not even the 2007 VMAs or Chaotic could ever erase what she’s achieved with Banana the Snake, “Toxic” or even Glory, her latest album which features some of her best work yet.

“He’s really in love Rihanna and is fighting his player ways and all the temptations that come his way to be with her”, our insider adds. She was doing exactly what I’ve done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear.

The following year, Drake acted like a spurned lover, writing a verse about Rihanna in his song “Fireworks” and telling The New York Times that she treated him like a pawn after he wrote a song for her and it never got released.

West could dominate headlines, too.

“I sit down and talk to older, rich people, aka white, and they tell me don’t compare yourself to (Steve) Jobs, (Walt) Disney, my friend told me…”

Olivia Newton John’s iconic Physical video appeared to be the unlikely inspiration for Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj’s VMA performance last night. The best male video nominees are West, Drake, the Weeknd, Bryson Tiller and Calvin Harris, whose nomination is for “This is What You Came For“, which he co-wrote with former girlfriend Swift.
