Kanye West Joins Instagram
Kanye West is finally biting the bullet and launching his own verified Instagram, so he can share his “art”.

The rapper and fashion designer made his debut on the social media platform Saturday night (Sept. 17) with a captionless photo of a futuristic-looking auto driving alongside a building with slanted walls. It’s my art. My tweets are a form of contemporary art only compromised by people trying to tell me what to tweet and not to tweet. West, who has long boasted one of the most entertaining and occasionally infuriating accounts on Twitter, has long resisted the ‘gram for reasons unknown. Over the past year alone, he’s made headlines with various rants about his fashion, would-be collaborators (ahem, Taylor Swift) and the state of his finances. He has yet to follow anyone else (including wife Kim Kardashian), and it now has one photo.

In just one day, West has over 477,000 followers and counting. The last he spoke of Instagram, he argued that he’d only sign up if he has full complete control of his account. Only time will tell.
