Kanye West Takes ‘Waves’ to ‘SNL’

Although David, who co-created “Seinfeld” and was the creator and star of HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm”, wrote for the late-night franchise in the show’s 10th season, he has never appeared as a host.

Kanye West is returning to the “Saturday Night Live” stage. The album is slated to drop on February 11th during an event at Madison Square Garden, which makes sense as to why Kanye would stick around for SNL.

It’s hard to believe that the February 6 episode will represent David’s first time hosting, since he’s been around the comedy scene for decades, has made recent appearances on SNL as a spot-on Bernie Sanders, and even served as a writer for the series back in the 1980s.

Kanye West and Melissa McCarthy are both at the top of their respective fields, but we haven’t really gotten a chance to see them interact out in public… until now, that is. McCarthy is now starring in CBS’s “Mike & Molly”, which she took home an Emmy for, and has “The Boss” and “Ghostbusters” coming out in theaters. The last time she hosted was in February 2014 with musical guests Imagine Dragons and Kendrick Lamar.
