This is the second straight year a top-ranked running back has bounced between the two rival schools.

Walker is a four-star prospect, the top ranked running back and the 38th-overall player in the class, according to the 247 Composite.
Walker is the third running back in UM’s 2016 class, joining Kingston Davis of Prattville, Alabama, and Chris Evans of Indianapolis.
Walker originally committed to Ohio State past year, but withdrew that decision in November. “Walker runs well between the tackles and is explosive through the hole”, Scout.com national analyst Brian Dohn wrote of Walker. On Wednesday the Wolverines secured a commitment from Devin Bush Jr., an inside linebacker from Flanagan High in Pembroke Pines, Fla., who turned down scholarship offers from Florida State and Auburn, among other big-time Power 5 programs.

Both Walker and Bush will enroll early. A 6-foot-1, 210-pound senior, he rushed for 4,563 yards and 55 touchdowns in four seasons at DePaul Catholic High School in Wayne, N.J., including 1,517 yards and 13 touchdowns as a senior this fall. After his announcement, Walker spoke with MI coach Jim Harbaugh on FaceTime to let him know he had committed.
