Today – on the 17th anniversary of the Kargil War – the nation is remembering its courageous soldiers who valiantly fought for our nation during the Kargil war in 1999. “Their heroic sacrifices inspire us”, Modi tweeted.
Echoing similar sentiment, earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the sacrifices of India’s soldiers, saying that the nation will never forget the fearlessness with which the soldiers gave a befitting and unforgettable reply to the intruders.
