Karma for Donald Trump: NBC fires him from ‘Celebrity Apprentice’
However, it still kept the possibility of another season of Celebrity Apprentice alive, just without The Donald yelling, “You’re fired!” Neither will new episodes. “There are a few people out there that fit that bill”, NBC president Bob Greenblatt told reporters at the Television Critics’ Association press tour on Thursday.

“We’re looking for a host of that show who is going to make noise and has a big personality” Greenblatt said of the replacement search, notes Deadline.
Not only did this wreck havoc with the partnership between NBC and Trump related to the Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants, but it affected Celebrity Apprentice as well. “I don’t know if I’ll do the fighting myself or if other people will. But that was a disgrace”. “I assured him that we will continue to cover this campaign with fairness & balance”, Ailes said in a statement. The network announced shortly after that Trump would be appearing on two of its shows on Tuesday, including a lengthy interview with Sean Hannity. He has jumped ahead of his Republican rivals in polls nationwide and in early voting states despite stirring controversy with contentious remarks about Mexican immigrants and lashing out at his opponents.
But the reality show will be back someday, NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt said Thursday. Because Trump is running for president and has repeatedly made offensive comments, NBC has been attempting to find someone to replace him on The Celebrity Apprentice. We weren’t in any sort of adversarial position.
Greenblatt says some of the rumors are completely wrong – like George Lopez – but he won’t elaborate on who is now in talks.
In July NBC and Burnett’s company began having brainstorming conversations about potential new hosts. “It was a congenial, really great relationship”.

However, NBC’s top brass shut down any chance of Trump returning as the host of the reality series down the road.
