Kashi, Quaker granola bars recalled over possible Listeria
The recall is limited to Kashi Trail Mix Chewy Granola Bars and Bear Naked Soft Baked Granola, Cinnamon + Sunflower Butter packed in two sizes, 11 oz and 26 oz.

Most healthy people who contract Listeria suffer high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea for short periods of time, but infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women, according to Kashi.
Kashi Trail Mix Chewy Granola Bars have been removed because of the potential that they are contaminated with listeria monocytogenes.
The recall includes 7.4-ounce bars with best-buy dates of 1/4/17, 1/5/17, 1/6/17, 1/7/17 and 1/8/17.

The company said sunflower seed ingredients distributed by one of its suppliers, SunOpta, are in the affected products.
Those products contain sunflower seeds that have been recalled.no illnesses have been reported to date but the illness caused by this bacteria can take up to 70 days to appear.

People who have recalled granola bars should throw them away and bring their receipt to Stop & Shop for a refund.
