The Kashi Company is voluntarily recalling some snack bars and granola sold in the US over concerns the products may contain sunflower seeds contaminated with Listeria.
Kashi is recalling Trail Mix Chewy Granola Bars and Bear Nakes Soft Baked Granola: Cinnamon + Sunflower Butter with specific UPC codes and best-by dates. However, listeriosis can cause high fever, severe headache, neck stiffness and nausea. You can see pictures of the recalled products at the FDA web site.
