Kashmir Riots fueled by LeT: Hafiz Saeed

Home Minister Rajnath Singh will be travelling to Islamabad for a meeting of SAARC home minister’s conference on August 3, marking the first high-level contact between the two governments since Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s surprise visit to Pakistan in December.

“We can not object to them going to a general SAARC meeting because SAARC is an institution that is in all our interest. But, I think that the problems emanating from Gilgistan and PoK should be left to Pakistan and the part of Kashmir that India has, should be handled by them alone, then there can be some peace in Kashmir”, he said. “It is really painful for people of Kashmir that Pakistan will welcome Indian Home Minister (responsible for mass killings in Kashmir) who is scheduled to visit the country on3 August”.

“It will be ironical as on the one hand the whole Pakistani nation is protesting against the Indian atrocities in Kashmir and on the other hand the Pakistani rulers will be garlanding Singh”, said the statement issued on Monday.

Two soldiers and two suspected militants were killed overnight in a gun battle in Indian-controlled Kashmir near the Line of Control with Pakistan, the Indian army said Saturday.

This was decided by the federal cabinet in its previous meeting held after a long time due to Prime Minister’s absence from the country.

Meanwhile, a Sikh delegation from Tral met Syed Ali Gilani and assured him of their full support in the ongoing freedom struggle.

Pakistan has eulogized Wani as a martyr and accused India of the blatant use of excessive force and violation of human rights in the Kashmir Valley in attempts to curb the huge demonstrations and attacks on police stations and security force bases. India has blamed Pakistan for trying to create unrest in the Valley.

Addressing a large gathering of party workers and people against the recent wave of violence and killings in Indian-held Kashmir, he said the issue of Kashmir evolved on the basis of ideology and not regionalism.

He said that India had thrust three wars on Pakistan and had been carrying out a genocide of the Kashmiris for the last 70 years but the global forums were blind to that.Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed joined the Azadi march at its starting point.
