Kasich criticizes campaigns that demean, weaken America
“Governor Pataki was very forceful in saying that I believe that this is the only candidate (Kasich) who can win a general election and beat Hillary Clinton”, McCarthy said.

“… [B]oth men would be disastrous as President – Cruz because he is an absolutist ideologue, Trump because he suffers from the irreparable, disqualifying defect of being Trump”, the editorial board wrote.
Kasich denied that, and said alcohol “obscures the ability of people to seek justice” after an attack. “And, notwithstanding all our challenges, America still is great”.
If he is not competitive in NY, which votes next week, or in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania, where voters go to the polls on April 26, it is not clear where he will fare any better. He concludes by telling the woman, a first-year at New York’s Saint Lawrence University: “I will give you one bit of advice”. “In fact, we are even told that foreign governments are actually controlling our destiny because they have become smarter than us and tougher than us”. Whether it was his now standard pablum about his privatization of state development via JobsOhio or why income tax cuts work miracles or why raising “the cap” on income subject to Social Security was so bad, John Kasich was in his element as much as he was out of it. He has hinted that he might not be willing to back Trump if the businessman wins the GOP’s presidential nomination, but he has not explicitly rescinded a prior pledge to do so.
Gov. John Kasich of OH has performed so abysmally in the Republican presidential primary that his curious insistence on remaining in the race has made him into a can’t-take-a-hint punch line.
In an interview on MSNBC Thursday night, Ohio Gov. John Kasich said about same-sex marriage “Here’s the thing: There could be an effort to pass a constitutional amendment (reversing last year’s ruling)”.
The email continued, “I’m so proud of the positive campaign John has run”.
Mr. Kasich also put blame on Republicans for the current state of healthcare. That is about 600 fewer than Donald Trump and almost 400 fewer than Sen.
“I think what really happened here is he went to the same place that most of America goes to”, Houser said.
Kasich told a room full of supporters in midtown Manhattan that the state’s Republican primary is offering two paths for voters: One that “exploits anger, encourages resentment, turns fear into hatred and divides people”, versus the other, which promotes unity and offers real solutions to the nation’s problems.

“I think there was enthusiasm for everyone, mostly for Trump, I would say”, said McCarthy.
