Kasich: Trump must ‘operate in the light’
In the crowded Windham High School gym Saturday night, there was a long wait before Trump took the stage. He’s unfiltered, often unscripted and sometimes reckless.

Organizers say they are in the final stages of discussions with Republican nominee Donald Trump’s campaign. For example, only 38 percent of Americans think Clinton is honest and trustworthy – essentially unchanged from previous Post-ABC polls.
The Clinton campaign, in response, said, “It’s unfortunate that Trump’s only method of dealing with his own disastrous week is to lash out with more absurd personal attacks”.
Clinton leads trump 50 percent to 42 percent in a head-to-head race, according to a survey of registered voters.
The question is, especially for Trump supporters, should he apologize?
Kaine noted that Trump spent much of the past week addressing criticism from the family of a fallen soldier, Capt. Humayun Khan, and explaining whether he would back Ryan’s reelection campaign. In that matchup, Johnson is favored by 9 percent and Stein by 5 percent of voters. However, there are still 32 percent of Hispanics, 29 percent of Asian-Americans and 21 percent of African-Americans who think Clinton intentionally broke the law.
It’s unclear yet if the Reuters/Ipsos survey is an outlier or an early indicator that the recent big gains for Clinton were really just her Democratic National Convention bounce, which would naturally deflate.
Tight races in two Southwestern states and wide margin in Virginia show how 2016 could continue to be an election of surprises.
Mrs Clinton this week suggested that she “may have short-circuited” when she incorrectly claimed that FBI director James Comey said her answers to the bureau about her use of a private email server were “truthful”.
Clinton’s statement wasn’t even in the neighborhood of being true.
Finally, Clinton is ahead by 2 points in Nevada, 43 to 41 percent, where she’s doing well with Latino voters, but Trump is having luck with older whites.
New Hampshire and Pennsylvania has Clinton up by more than 10 points. But what is particularly interesting is that, despite one of the convention’s goals of reintroducing and rehabilitating Clinton to voters, her bump seems to have come less from improving her image and more from convincing people that Trump is worse.
The aide, who asked not to be identified, said on Sunday in outlining the plan: “We don’t want it to be an economic disadvantage to have children”.
“By all conventional calculations, you need some party unity within the state to help you win, to turn out friends and neighbors, and make sure that every Republican voter goes to the polls”, says Charles Franklin, a pollster at Marquette University in Milwaukee. “Thank you. #PurpleHeart Day”. Do you believe he should just stay the course?
Trump’s critics say he is too emotional and irrational in his decision-making to be president. He’s been called “dangerous” and “unfit”, the latter by the current president.
The New York billionaire also alleged that the terrorist group ISIS is dreaming of a Clinton presidency.
Stephen Miller, a senior policy adviser to Donald Trump, warned that Clinton’s proposal was unsafe, in a statement released Friday.
