Kate Middleton and Prince William make first Royal Ascot appearance

The 34-year-old royal donned a long-sleeved, white lacy Dolce & Gabbana dress, which she styled with a pair of nude pumps.

Princess Anne, Prince Edward, Prince Andrew and the Duchess of Cornwall were also in attendance.

Prince William is due to present a trophy to the victor of a race named in his honour.

“It’s a great day out”.

Heavy rain caused havoc at Royal Ascot on Tuesday, with racegoers sheltering their fancy hats under umbrellas and ponchos. But forecasters expect the weather to turn foul again on Thursday.

William and Kate ditched the umbrellas as they paraded along the famous racecourse in an open-top carriage – smiling and waving to the crowds despite the sudden shower.

Kate Middleton is rumored to be pregnant with her third baby and she is heeding the advice of health experts to postpone going to Brazil for the Olympic Games to avoid acquiring the Zika virus.

Sandra King, 60, from Camberley, Surrey, was at Ascot with a group of friends to celebrate one of their birthdays.

But it’s her latest look, with a Canadian connection, that has us giving some major props to the Duchess.

We can tell you that if/when Will and Kate have another baby girl, the odds of them naming her after Princess Diana are slim to none. As a mother herself, she asked Kate about her children and commented on what a pretty little thing most people thought of Princess Charlotte and Prince George. Still, the dress sold out within hours of the Duchess wearing it.

Miss Middleton’s other 2011 visits with her then fiancé to Wales and Scotland had been to Anglesey (where Prince Andrew was then based) and St Andrews (where the couple studied) and, according to Mr Low, “were home territory”.

She said she was a regular at Ascot: “If I can be here I try and come if I can”.

She said she does not only get support from her family but people go insane for her Duchess inspired outfits on social media.

There were concerns that the royal carriage would not be able to travel along the course on Wednesday because the saturated ground had become so soft.

The dress might look familiar – it’s the same one she wore to the Windsor Horse Race just last month.
