It’s official: Pippa Middleton will soon have her very own not-quite-royal wedding. Pippa debuted her lovely diamond ring as she left her home in London on Tuesday morning, her beaming smile coming as further confirmation of the engagement.

James and Pippa reportedly became engaged during a trip to the picturesque Lake District on Sunday. Mathews proposed to Middleton on Sunday in England’s handsome Lake District. It also reports that Pippa’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton are “absolutely thrilled”, while Kate and brother-in-law Prince William are “absolutely delighted” to hear the news. It is unknown whether Catherine will return the favour, but as the Duchess has always been very close to her family, the royal couple will nearly definitely attend the wedding. Princess Kate will likely be her sister’s Matron of Honor and Kate’s children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, could also play a role in their aunt’s wedding.

On Tuesday, Middleton confirmed the rumors by stepping out of her London home with a huge rock on her left ring finger. After, Middleton dated another financier, Nico Jackson before breaking it off in 2015 (he is now based in Geneva, Switzerland).
“James is a traditionalist and very much wanted to do things properly”. Middleton and Mathews briefly dated in 2012, and while their initial relationship came to an end, they reconciled in 2015.
The couple are reported to have been dating for about a year and were photographed at Wimbledon. “That meant getting his future father-in-law’s consent”.
