Kathleen Kennedy talks Star Wars Anthology: Han Solo movie

Harrison was going through his own experience, finding that place for himself again, to return to something that had been so much a part of his identity and acting career”, Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy tells the mag. “It was his own little personal journey, but once he got there, it was incredible”. We don’t want to do that either.

Kennedy revealed the question that will be answered. “We’re not introducing you to a 10-year-old Han Solo”, she told EW. “He’ll definitely be probably in his high teens, low 20s”. So we can expect a amusing, knowing, character-based film.

Given this information, I don’t think we can legitimately consider any of the actors who have been in the running among fans for the role of Han so far (that includes Chris Pratt, Aaron Paul, Anthony Ingruber, as well as others). The cast had come together for dinner shortly before production got under way, and no one was sure exactly how close Ford was with the man who had stood beside him in a Wookie suit all those years ago. “And he was so amusing and warm and helpful to the young people, and generous with his old costars”.

With the news of the next Star Wars Anthology film to focus on Han Solo, fans have been asking questions left and right. When he returned to him, he brought his son, Jon, in to help write and provide inspiration.

Han Solo’s Star Wars Anthology movie is scheduled for release on May 25, 2018. “And then, you know, Harrison – and I’ve always found this over the years with the Indiana Jones films we’ve all done together – he’s incredibly collaborative when it comes to story and developing his character, and really engaged in the process”. The movie, which will be released on December 2015, will be directed by J. J. Abrams, who helmed the first two movies in the most recent Star Trek movies, and will be the seventh installment in the Star Wars Universe.

Fantastic Four” reboot director Josh Trank was set to direct the third film, but has stepped down around the same time the Fox movie was said to be an “already-legendary trouble making” film. The original plan had been for Trank to showcase a teaser reel of material during the Star Wars Celebration event earlier in the summer.

Kennedy also went into the fact that we may see characters like Greedo and Chewbacca in the film as well as the fact that it will be amusing. But were definitely still developing it.

If you’re anxious about a repeat of the problems the series had with young Anakin Skywalker and Boba Fett, you can breath a sigh of relief. Keeping that in mind, I’m wondering what kind of story would require such “innovative technology” and involve the infamous bounty hunter.
