Katona’s husband held over ‘assault’

Kerry Katona has ended her marriage to husband George Kay, just days after he was arrested on suspicion of assault and possessing a Taser.

He was alleged to have caused actual bodily harm and be in unlawful possession of a Taser.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said in a statement that a 35-year-old woman, thought to be Kerry, “sustained bruising to her face and arms” following the apparent assault.

Sources tell The Sun that more than one call was made to police and raised voices were heard during the incident on Saturday.

“He was later released on police bail until 24 October while enquiries continue”.

Last night the Atomic Kitten star posted the below snap on her children on Twitter.

They married in September past year in a ceremony in Gloucestershire that featured in OK!

But they moved to Sussex as Kerry believed their home was haunted.

The pair tied the knot 11 months ago but just 10 months after their nuptials, Kerry kicked her spouse out of their house following a series of blazing rows.

Kerry is mum to Molly, 13, and Lilly-Sue, 12, from her marriage to Brian McFadden and Heidi, 8, and Max, 7, with second husband Mark Croft, as well as 17-month-old Dylan-Jorge with George.
