A source was quoted as telling the website, “Aankhen 2 will star Shahid Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Amitabh Bachchan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead”.

“Aankhen” revolves around a bank robbery by three blind persons. “Official announcements will be made soon about this may be in 15-20 days”. The previous film “Aankhen” starred Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal and Sushmita Sen. When contacted by Pinkvilla, he said, “There will be official announcements made on this”. However, the filmmaker has maintained that he wouldn’t make the film without Amitabh Bachchan. The reports further added that entertaining actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is also likely to be a part of the sequel along with Katrina and Shahid.
